American Revolutionary War Simulation
Wars are pivotal events that change the course of history. The American Revolutionary War, fought from 1775 to 1781 between Great Britain and rebellious colonists, remains one of the most momentous events in modern history. The ideals of the rebelling colonists inspired demands for justice and self-determination around the globe, with the quest for democracy continuing today. During the Patriots experience, which will take place in both my class and Mr. Allen's Specialist Class, our classrooms will reflect life in the American colonies between 1761 an 1783.

- the revolutionaries
- the military and cultural aspects of the war, as well as major battles
- the meaning of the war, including declaring and achieving independence
