 It's a short week: Thanksgiving break. School gets out at noon on Wednesday. Here's the short plan:
Writing: Continue Opinion Writing. We'll finish gathering evidence to support our opinions. The sources for evidence are our personal experiences, outside research, and other people's personal experiences. Reading & Social Studies: Begin "A History of US: The First Americans" by Joy Hakim. We'll practice stopping, thinking, and reacting to informational text. Math: Finish Division. We'll model how to draw a diagram for a division problem. We'll also go over the standard long division algorithm. Feel free to check the Curriculum Guide for more detailed information on what we'll be working on in class this week and beyond. Cheers!
