Have you ever wonder how a pain reliever works inside your body? When something hurts inside or outside your body you usually take a pain reliever to make you feel better. The two most common pain relievers are Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen they come in pill or liquid form. After you swallow or drink the pain reliever it doesn’t go directly to where you’re feeling the pain. According to kidsheath.org “pain reliever’s work with your cells, your body’s nerve endings, your nervous system, and your brain to keep you from feeling the pain”. According to kidsheath.org when cells in your body are injured or damaged, they release a chemical called prostaglandin. This chemical is from your nerves. When the nerves in your body kind of explode they release the chemical called prostaglandin. The way that a pain reliever works, it prevents cells that are ill and causing you pain from making and releasing a chemical called prostaglandin. Pain is uncomfortable but it helps you realize that something is wrong with your body and something has to be done. For example if you step on a nail you wouldn’t feel the pain if it wasn’t for pain. Your brain gets a message to raise your foot right away. As you can see, pain helps you realize that something is wrong. The pain reliever will work with your brain and cells to keep you from feeling the pain. If reading this gave you a head ache go get yourself a pain reliever. Gavin, Medical Doctor On this essay I’m going to write about a compare and contrast I’m going to compare and contrast two characters from a book named wonder. The characters names are August and Julian there are great boys well one not so great or nice. Read this essay so you can find out if there in common or different.
First, the differences Julian is really mean to other kids especially August. For example when the kids took August on a tour Julian was being mean like saying where you in a fire because his face is deformed. August is always nice to everybody. Like this one time jack was his friend but then August heard him talking bad about him and after that he still for gave him. Another difference is Julian is popular in school because he talks a lot to kids his age but August is shy and doesn’t really talk to anybody but his friends. Another difference is that Julian is rich and he brags about it a lot. Next, the common stuff they have aren’t a lot at all. The first one is that they both are jacks friends but Julien doesn’t really like him anymore because he’s friends with August. The other thing is that there both enemies they hate one another. Finally, hope you found out who is the nice kid in the book and you had fun reading this essay Students task was to write a well-structured opinion essay filled with evidence supporting their claims. Have you ever had to lost a field and never got to play on it again I have.
I think the brooks school field should not be closed just to plant grass because we have to play on the drive way and that causes a hassle. For example all of the kids that play on the drive way and we will have to stop the game just so a car can pass by. Also the cars are parked where we play so we might hit a car with a ball and break a window. Another reason why I think the brooks school field should not be closed just to plant grass is because the fifth graders won’t get to play on the field for the year. The worst part is that it’s our last year at the brooks school. Have you ever had that experience something like that when you have to lose something like a play area? In addition is that the field is still no grass planted so it could take maybe two years to sod the field? The other reason I think the field should not be closed gust to plant grass is because It can cost lots of money for them to sod the field and even more money for turf. When I heard the governor of Medford gave the school money I was like damnit because as I said before I don’t want the field to be closed for grass planting. The author thing is that talking about sod it comes in rolls and one can be up to twenty dollars and for that big field it will cost a lot. That’s why I don’t want the field not to plant grass and specially because I won get to see it any more or play on the field by-by field maybe one day I can go play on it because my sister might go to that school in the future. My heart is pumping so hard when we are going up the mountain by car, no side railing to the left or right. As we go up the Mountain we reached 6000 feet. We stop for a little view. We see a big road going in a twirl direction. I say can we go up there to my friend’s parents. They say yes but let’s look the wonderful view.
I’m at 7000 feet. We know this because we see little signs that say how high we are. We finally reached the top of the mountain. At the top of the mountain it is awesome. When you look at the view it’s like you can see the world. I see a little shop that’s sells hot coco and coffee. The cool thing is that at that store there was a miniature museum inside that was free. It was gust telling about the mountains and stuff. After that we went back up and enjoyed or hot coco. The way down was pretty cool and fun but still scary that was a fun time. At the end I say to my self maybe we can come again sometime. I`m walking down I see a huge house that looks like it was horrified .I hear owls howling, and howling. The trees look like the wind pushed them. As I steep on the first I hear a creak I quickly jump all the stairs then I open the door I feel a fury thing going around my leg I see a black cat looking at me with his terrifying yellow eyes . I also hear an organ playing. Suddenly the door behind me shuts bam I look forward then look back. I see a note that says this is the last place you will ever go to….. to be continued… It is recess time. Anna, Izzy, Marisabel ,Gavin and I are going outside to play. I hear stumping inside all the children are rushing outside like there was a fire breathing dragon inside school. So I look at the line to the rollercoaster was empty. But then I see every kid rushing to line .I went to the field to play soccer then I heard the bell ring it was finally time for lunch I see they got new machines in the lunch room. It took so long to get our lunch. Also the line was huge. the line was moving so slow the kids almost went back.
