There are a few steps you need to know if you want to know how Wi-Fi works. But there are also some facts on Wi-Fi that could be helpful too. You will learn how Wi-Fi enters the building, how Wi-Fi gets on the other devices and more. If you want to learn how Wi-Fi works then all you need to do is read my research report. You will also learn some cool facts about Wi-Fi. How does Wi-Fi start? The first step on how Wi-Fi works is that the cable has to enter the home or the building. First the cable enters the house or building. The cable starts at the cable provider. Second is the cable then runs across the telephone poles. Then enters the house or building. How does Wi-Fi get to other devices? The second step on how Wi-Fi works is that you have to make sure the internet service is hooked up to the main computer. After the wireless router is then hooked up to the main computer the main computer has a program that operates the Wi-Fi. Usually the Wi- your devices. The wireless device then sends a signal to the other devices in the home or building. Interesting facts Here are some facts about Wi-Fi. Fact 1 is that sometimes you have to enter a password to get Wi-Fi. But sometimes it does not have a password and it logs in itself. Fact 2 is that the person or company has to pay for other people to use their Wi-Fi. Fact three is that you do not have to plug anything in when your device is making a different connection with Wi-Fi. Fact four is that the first version of Wi-Fi was made in 1997. Those were a few steps and a few facts on how Wi-Fi works. People say they can’t live without their phones or other devices. But they are always using Wi-Fi on there devices. Without Wi-Fi the world would change a lot. My guess on how kids would change if there was no Wi-Fi is that I think more kids would be outside and more kids would be a lot more active because they are always on their devices but they would be bored and they could play out to keep them entertained. If you follow those few steps on how Wi-Fi works you should know almost everything you need to know on how Wi-Fi works. Students task was to write a well-structured opinion essay filled with evidence supporting their claims. Special features include:
Many boys think they are better at girls at sports but I disagree. Adults always tell kids that it is not about winning or losing. I think it is all about fun. To be honest sometimes I do get mad when I lose but I just have to remind myself that I played hard and it is all about fun! For example in gym class, boys use to jump up and down and shout. But that makes the girls feel like they are not good.
Many boys think they are better than girls at sports but I disagree. Someone said that if a boy tried to do the uneven bars in gymnastics they would fail. I disagree with him because I think all it takes is practice, effort and time. For example when I first started basketball I was not good at it. But then I put some effort in to it and I became good at basketball! Many boys think they are better than girls at sports but I disagree because I believe that girls can play any sport than boys can play. We can play sports just as well as boys can play. For example my brother and I both play soccer. We started soccer at the same time and our skills are the same. Another example for our skills is that we both can play defense, midfield, offence and goalie. We can both do the side circle trick. We are also twins. Because we both put in the same amount of effort into soccer. We also play soccer together in our backyard. Many boys think they are better than girls at sports but I disagree. It might make the girls feel like they are bad. The girl might feel like she is trying her best but someone else might think it was pathetic. For example when I was little I played soccer. Once at soccer practice I was dribbling the ball up the field some crazy kid came charging at me. He kicked the ball it was stuck in the middle of our feet. He got it out and I fell and everyone was laughing at me. I felt like I was not good enough. Many boys think they are better than girls at sports but I disagree. Because sometimes boys don’t give girls a chance. For example in gym class boys would keep on passing the ball to their friends or the best boys on the team. I think it is not fare to the girls because the boys are not giving us girls a chance. Many boys think they are better than girls at sports but I disagree because sometimes they might have not even seen you play a sport before and expect to be better than you. For example at gym class the boys used to never pass to the girls. I’m guessing it is because they would think the other team would get the ball right away. But after a while I did not like it. Also boys think they are rougher. But I think you do not have to be rough to be better at a sport than someone. Another small reason is that many girls are going to the Olympics for example a sport is gymnastics. So remember those five things it is not about winning or losing, it takes practice, girls and boys can be equal, don’t give up and show boys that girls can be just as good at any sport as boys. Just keep in mind that I am not talking about every single boy thinks they are better than girls at sports. Those are some reasons why boys should not think that they are better than girls at sports. "Run to the net,’’ my coach screamed. I was at soccer practice. My coach was in the net yelling commands. It was a cool day but I was still hot! Sweat was dripping down my face. My throat was as dry as a desert. I went back on defense to catch my breath. My face wasn’t dripping sweat any more. I went back to forward. Just in a heartbeat I was wiped out. My coach punted the ball up the field and the bright yellow ball landed right in front of me. I dribbled it to the goal then I crossed it to my teammate. She passed it back. I took a deep breath and shot it. ‘’wahoo,’’ I heard my teammate say. I scored a goal! Almost every one on my team had their arms up. I ran back to the center for the kick off. My coach told everyone on my team to run up to the net. The coach punted the bright yellow ball up to my teammate Kathleen. She shot the ball it bounced off of the goalies shin pads. I ran up and kicked full power into the corner off the goal. ‘’Yes,’’ I said. I scored another goal.
‘’Nice job,’’ Kathleen said. It was almost time to go. ‘’ Next goal we are done,’’ my coach said. But no one scored a goal because it was getting too late. We all dashed to pick up the bright orange cones. ‘’See you on Thursday bye,’’ my coach said. ‘’I will be there bye,’’ I said back to my coach. I could not wait to tell my mom and dad I scored two goals!!I was so proud of myself, my parents were proud of me too. I was so fatigued. It was my best soccer practice in division 12! I was walking down the dark stones with wet grass sticking out of the cracks. I stopped as I saw a light flicker. The only light on in the house. I jumped to the side and bumped into a tree. A piece of bark fell off of the tree. I was petrified. It was very old. The wind went past me.it reminded me of a ghost. I stepped on to the crocked stairs. I could hear the screeching sound the step made. The rest of the steps I went slower and slower but that did not help anything. I put my hand on the doorknob. There were spider webs all over the door. I stepped in ….. to be continued. MJJA School of Awesomeness Rules:
It was the middle of the day and my teacher asked me to go take a paper down to the office. So I hopped on the elevator, leaped down the trampoline hallways, jumped on the elevator again, flipped down the hallway and was right in front of the door. I skipped into the office slipped the paper into the mail box and caught the roller coaster going up to my floor. When I walked in to my class room my class wasn’t there. After two minutes trying to find them I went to the water park. I had enough of the water park so I went to burger king. I got a cheese burger, French fries and a nice cold drink of soda. Then I finally found them! It was time for recesses. I cartwheeled to the gymnastics room. You can go anywhere you want for recesses. Once I got in there I went straight to the bars to do some pull overs. Then I went to the ground balance been to do some cartwheels and handstands the last thing I did was front handsprings on the tumble track. then I took the #3 roller coaster. |
