Papi hits a home run, and now the game is done
Chorus: Reading the news is such a blast, even though it happened in the past. I watched Ortiz hit the ball out of sight, and then I read about it on a web site. I read it on the news, and some TVs; now the red sox are in the World Series! The Cardinals fans watched in terror, as their team made error after error. Salty showed up at Medford Modell’s, all you could hear were all the screams and all the yells. Saltalamacchia has a really long name, so fans just call him Salty during the game.
