Welcome to the Reading Response Blog! This is where we'll be sharing about our independent reading each week. I look forward to reading and responding to all of your comments!

This week, I am giving you the opportunity to try posting a comment. Before you do, please read the Commenting Guidelines. Once you have done that, please follow the prompt below.

This Week's Prompt:

Say "Hi!" Just reply to this post and you can literally just write, "Hi everyone! Sincerely ..." in the Comments field. Of course, you have to follow the steps from the Commenting Guidelines as best you can. You don't have to go any deeper than a simple greeting this week. We have a fun day planned for tomorrow (Wednesday). I hope we can start making our presentation for Friday's All School Meeting. That should be fun! For the rest, you'll have to wake up, come to school, and find out for yourself!

Hi Ms. Kimball

I know it's sad that my dog got bone and lung cancer:( He is 10 years old. But he already lived a long life :) I also have some pictures of him and me together as a puppy, if you guys want me to bring the pictures in:)

Dear Liana,

I agree! I heard many compliments from other teachers about our video. Dr. Brown even wants to post it on the Pine Hill website! It was a lot of fun to create. We'll do more projects like that throughout the year now that we know how to use iMovie.

Hi Guys!
I was in Ms.Kimball's class last year. She is really cool! You guys are in for a really great year! I know you will learn SO much from her, and not only the stuff on the adgenda. Her speeches about poop are ecseptional, along with where to put the food (in the middle of the room, of course), and so much more! I hope you're year will be as great as mine!

Hi guys.
Sorry I missed school today. I just wanted to say that core values presentation was awesome! Also, thank you miss kimball for shooting, helping, and mostly coming up with this great idea! Hopefully this inspired many students to do the right thing. Also, Talia, thanks for that tip. I hope she was as nice to you as much she is to us. All I know is I will have a great year with Ms. Kimball, and I am truly lucky to be in 5K.

Dear Tommy,

We missed you today! Thank you for writing to us and for your kind words to me and the class. I think you guys did a fabulous job on the Core Values video and I think we inspired future fifth grade classes for years to come on what they can do for their presentations. I think the entire school learned something important about being kind and respectful to one another, too!

So nice to hear from you! I agree, time flies. I miss you and the BCE very much. We had such a fun year together. I hope middle school is treating you well. I would love to hear more about all of your adventures. One of these days we'll have to plan a BCE reunion!
