Students worked hard to write their first personal narratives. Their stories are so thoughtful and entertaining! Students worked on skills such as writing about a small moment, using precise sensory details, writing in a step by step way, staying in the narrator's point of view, using spicy vocabulary, and using paragraphs to signal important changes. Other than a little coaching and guidance from me, students wrote their narratives very independently, using peer conferencing and checklists to polish their stories to the best of their abilities. Great work, everyone! Click on the "Comments" link to read some of our personal narratives. We hope you enjoy!
