Students had a blast participating in the Marshmallow Challenge, a fun STEM activity involving design thinking. Students had 18 minutes to plan and build a structure that could hold a large marshmallow as high as possible using only 20 sticks of spaghetti, 1 meter of masking tape, and 1 meter of string. Caroline, Emma, and Thomas B were victorious, creating a 50 cm tower. Caly, Katie, and Wyatt came in second, with a 46 cm structure. Check out students' work below.
