5K Class Supply List

Thank you in advance for purchasing any supplies for your child’s classroom use. You may have already purchased supplies over the summer –you can certainly use those. This is a customized list of supplies I find most appropriate for our classroom.

• 3 composition notebooks (no perforated pages)    – 1 for writing, 1 for reading, 1 for everything else
• 6 two-pocket folders (durable)    –for handouts from each subject and homework
• 1 thick three-ring binder (2 or more inches thick)    –for a portfolio
• 1 thin three-ring binder (1-2 inches thick)   –for important documents & teaching charts
• 1 package of sheet protectors      –to protect important documents
• 1 set of 8 binder dividers    –to separate the sections of the portfolio
• 3-pack of 3-inch square sticky notes in fun colors    –for note-taking, responding, and more
• 1 pack of pencil cap erasers
• 3 sharpie markers, fine point (black or colored)
• 1 box of tissues   –we’ll share as a class, but we’ll need a box per student
• (Optional) 1 roll of paper towels
• (Optional) 1 container of disinfectant wipes
• (Optional) 1 small pack of dry-erase markers in fun colors   –because we get tired of the same boring colors
